The Marriage Project + Podcast
Resource for Married Couples

the project- what is this?

The Marriage Project is my way of investing back into families and marriages, couple by couple, story by story as I interview and record with Christian married couples. Using photography and podcasting, I pray it can educate a future generation, help build a foundation and uphold the sanctity of marriage while encouraging and inspiring hope for this one through the portrait of God's design for marriage.

The project aims to answer questions
”What is covenant?”
“Is my marriage worth fighting for?”
“What do you wish you had known before stepping into marriage?”
“How has God transformed you through marriage?” “What have you learned about what "love is" through marriage?”

Why did I create this project?

The main purpose is to glorify God through His design for marriage as Christian married couples share what they’ve learned as they’ve navigated marriage.

It also has become a resource for previous wedding clients of mine. I wanted to create something to help come alongside those of you stepping into marriage that may have skipped pre-marital counseling or are finding yourself facing certain struggles or challenges in your marriage that you had never anticipated.

I wanted to also create a guide or discussion questions for you to follow along together, you and your spouse, as you listen!

Wedding days are important but I care to invest in you beyond that day. I hope this serves as a template or guide as you navigate the days after “I do”.

PODCAST

The podcast portion of the project features different couple’s stories from all over the U.S. and two testimonies or couple’s stories were recorded in South Africa last year.

What other listeners are saying —

“The thing I love about this podcast is how honest and raw it is, but backed with incredible stories of God working in marriages that could’ve easily been broken. Instead, those trials and lessons brought these couples closer together guided by God’s work. It’s an example of a higher power and how faith can connect two people on a deeper level.”—MT

THE BOOK

His: A Single Girl's Journey to Discovering God's Heart on Love, Marriage and Identity by Alysha Miller is an inspiring book which takes readers through the telling of the author's story, the vision behind her ministry The Marriage Project, her wedding photography business and the understanding of who the Bridegroom is and what that means for eternity.

This book is for the young woman who is bound by finding her worth in relationships. It is for the young woman who idolizes marriage, is obsessed with attaining the perfect relationship and whose identity has been misplaced.

His affirms we are God's above all else. His reaches out to hold the hand of this young woman to show her where Real Love is found. His points to God's heart and definition of sex, marriage, covenant, love, and spousal roles. His emphasizes the blessing of singleness, purity and finding our identity as HIS. Alysha is a clear and effective communicator and draws readers to:

• value the power of God's Word in their lives
• to take an honest look at their own experiences and see where transformation needs to occur
• understand relationships and marriage from a biblical worldview
• discover who our hearts were created for and how to establish a relationship with Him

Alysha Miller is the photographer and host of The Marriage Project and podcast. The vision for this project was conceived at a friend's baby shower, in the company of women whose stories and raw honesty about their marriages captured her attention. Located in Southern California, Alysha Miller is also the owner of Alysha Miller Photography, specializing in fine art wedding photography.
