Newport Beach Engagement Session | Lido Marina & Crystal Cove State Beach
Engagement sessions are always a bit of an adventure and although you’ll think you planned for everything, there’s usually one thing that makes you have to roll with the punches. Tatum and I landed on starting their engagement session in the Lido Marina village area. Driving up I saw that the main road was turned to rubble and orange cones were everywhere as they were renovating the entire main street. Which just meant I was going to have to get creative and shoot around these eye sores. Tatum and Austin made my job easy…they were naturals in front of the camera.
We found Crystal Cove to be much more predictable, with no setbacks or anything unexpected there. Just a sunset that was simply breathtaking. Whenever I shoot along the coast, I am reminded of how beautiful our state really is. It’s such a blessing to live in such a beautiful place like Southern California.
