I had to blog Betty’s first birthday! I met her mom, Eunice, last year and she’s the best business coach out there! When mom asked if I’d want to come document Betty’s birthday, I said “absolutely!” Just look what I walked into…a room full of FUN and ICE CREAM!Read More
When trying to come up with some ideas for their engagement session, Kathleen landed on this cute little Oceanside neighborhood that boasts lots of charm. To add to the fun, we had Charlee, their golden retriever, join us for some of the photos. Happy to explore more of the California coast with one of my couples and their pup!Read More
The colors of summer and the evening breeze set the tone for this family session. Family sessions are some of my favorite!
The end of summer can mean a lot of different things to so many. Some of you may have to face bed times (school’s in!) or hard times during this upcoming holiday season. Families = just the three of you (four or five, etc) , or grandparents, aunts, uncles, or just you and a group of close friends, whatever family means to you!Read More
The most beautiful, romantic summer wedding took place July 7, 2019. Between the olive groves and lavender fields with their scent filling the air, glory was given to the Giver of good gifts.
Cassie and Austin stood before the altar, took communion and said their vows to one another before God and their guests. It was emotional, sacred and Jesus’ presence was felt in every word spoken, in every tear dropped, in every photo snapped and every ounce of His peace, protection and covering was evident over this union and this day.
This couple took such great care of me. From the rental car (mint green Ford Fiesta), to the most beautiful, quaint hotel in Palo Alto, it was no problem flying up to shoot this gorgeous Woodside, CA wedding for this sweet couple.
I had never met Sirma and Pol prior to their wedding. However, it was like we were old pals upon meeting them. It was great to be in such a stunning venue with such amazing viewpoints. And the drive up to the Mountain Terrace venue wasn’t half bad ( eluding to Half Moon Bay). The staff on site were also so great to work with, I couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough to anyone looking for a romantic Redwoods wedding.
This beautiful Redlands wedding was such a blessing to be a part of!
A day spent worshipping the Lord, thanking Him for working in our lives and bringing Rochelle and Marlon together. I was honored to be in the company of men and women who have experienced the goodness of God and testify to His redeeming love. Rochelle and Marlon live their life to serve the Lord and their love for Him and His church shine as light through the dark. Excited to share this one with you all!Read More
It’s been a beautiful colorful spring this 2019 year. With the butterfly migration and all the rain, Southern California has seen blooms galore and with the famous poppy field explosion, it’s been a memorable one that’s for sure!
Abby, Mike and I found some flowers, thanks to all the rain we had here and decided these yellow blooms deserved some photo love too. Check out more here from their springtime engagement session.Read More
Bridgette and Mike’s beach engagement session was so fun and so chill. We met up at their wedding venue, snapped some fun photos around the grounds, chatted wedding timeline and did it all within 45 minutes. Engagement sessions can be exactly what you need them to be — this time it was a relaxed, short and sweet session. Don’t feel like it has to be some grand adventure with a crazy landscape. You can make your own, your own way and still get photos true to you as a couple!Read More
Zach, Makenna and I drove around Long Beach, California for this winter time beach city engagement session. Stopping at Colorado Lagoon, and walking around their downtown neighborhood.Read More
Such a perfect day to shoot Cassie and Austin’s engagement session. You can usually bet on Southern California sun especially in the desert, but surprisingly we were met with overcast skies. We started at the botanical gardens (be sure to check their hours!) and ended with a little session in the desert terrain.Read More
Jessica and Tyler’s wedding was held in December of 2018 in one of my favorite cities, Palm Springs. The O’Donnell House is set high on a hill overlooking parts of the city, can’t beat the view. And hey, wedding photographers, if you’re out early enough you may even have time to get a scoop of ice cream at local The Ice Cream Shoppe.Read More
Sana and Tony’s beautiful desert engagement session at the sand dunes and tips for photographers planning a trip to the dunes!Read More
Mary + Brian are celebrating 9 years of marriage! Mary and I put our heads together and thought a "re-wed" shoot would be fun! We took the hemline up a bit but threw on a lacy white dress to remember that day they said "I do" nine years agoRead More
I love it when the lights turn low,
and there’s that summer glow.
There’s more light to pack life in before the day turns dark, there’s extra time to soak
in your people and the places this summer has taken you.
Jessica and Tyler’s mountain engagement session ∘ The drive up was filled with clinging, dense fog and wondering if we’d even be able to shoot. It made everything extra bewildering and mysterious. Pressing onward the valley floor brought warmth, sun and singing songbirds.Read More
Celebrating her soon to be big sister role, Finnley and momma spend some quality hanging out, getting some ice cream and getting some pictures taken to remember this sweet season in their lives.Read More

Desert and desserts were the theme of this maternity road trip session. As Taylor and I planned her maternity session, we got a little ambitious. I proposed a trip to the sand dunes. Taylor grew up going to the dunes, and I had never been. So we thought, "let's go for it".Read More
Brooke and Austin's wedding day was such a fun way to end the 2017 wedding season. Brooke's gorgeous color palette couldn't have matched the Living Desert or the evening sky more perfectly. The gorgeous soft pinks, peach, deep pinks and accentuated black bridesmaid's dresses, was all just too good. With the beautiful ostrich hair fur coats fitting very nicely with the wildlife all around from the giraffes and addax on green, rolling hills, to vultures, zebras, and camels...one in particular whose name just happened to be Diamond.Read More
You know those cards couples have you fill out at their wedding? "GIVE US YOUR BEST DATE IDEA AND WE'LL DO IT!" Now even though, I'm a photographer I get more creative than just putting "PLAN A PHOTOSHOOT TOGETHER!" if you're a couple that thoroughly enjoys adventuring together, dream up a place you haven't been before and see if a photographer might not join along.Read More
