When Danielle and Konnor first reached out about their 2023 Cabo destination wedding, I knew we’d need to find somewhere coastal and just as beautiful for their engagement photos. Thankfully, in Southern California beautiful and coastal is something we have plenty of.

It was always a dream to capture photos and see the Point Reyes National Seashore. It was the most beautiful day driving through the quiet coastal roads to get to this point to see this view.

Austen and Alex wanted to keep their engagement session hassle-free and shoot somewhere local to where they live. I’d taken some photos at this field before and they thought it was perfect. We met about 45 minutes before sunset, giving us some time to catch up and not rush through the photos. Once the sun starting setting we starting snapping away.

Julia and Alex have been patiently awaiting their wedding day. To create a bright spot in all this last year was, we decided to head on down to Lake Cuyamaca in Julian, CA to take some photos and celebrate their story in the midst of all this uncertainty.

Location: White Sands National Park, New Mexico
This White Sands engagement shoot was quite the adventure. Sydney and Tyler (and their two dogs) made the trek from Albuquerque to take their engagement photos in the deserts of New Mexico.
National Park Service describes it as, “Like No Place Else on Earth Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico.”

Cue all the tears. This session is one I’ve been imagining since Monica and I met a few years back. She’s my sister-friend and from the moment she got engaged, I could not contain my excitement (!!!!!) Hanging with her and her fiance Jon for a couple of hours shooting was so much fun and I’m looking forward to their intimate, classic Santa Barbara wedding next month!
